A Message from the Director

Temple University Hospital’s Kidney Transplant Program, founded nearly 20 years ago, offers a full range of transplant services, including deceased donor and living donor options.

Our staff includes experienced transplant nephrologists and surgeons as well as a support team consisting of transplant coordinators, a dedicated doctor of pharmacy, social worker and financial counselor. Many members of our team have been with Temple for years, creating a genuinely warm, family like atmosphere that provides our patients with a superb continuity of care.

Our multidisciplinary approach and the experience of our transplant team allows us to treat the most complex patients, including those with numerous co-morbidities. In addition, every member of our team places great emphasis on convenient, patient-friendly service and regular communication with the patient’s own family physician and specialists throughout the entire transplant process.

For added convenience, our physicians offer appointments at Jeanes Hospital in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia. And for patients living in Delaware and Chester Counties, our recent Alliance with Crozer-Keystone Health System provides a convenient site for most outpatient service at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
