Temple-Crozer Kidney Transplant Alliance

Temple University Hospital, Temple University School of Medicine and Crozer-Keystone Health System have created the Temple-Crozer Kidney Transplant Alliance. This clinical alliance offers a seamless continuum of high-quality care for patients in Delaware and Chester counties with end-stage kidney disease who require transplantation.

This innovative program allows for easily accessible and convenient comprehensive care “closer to home.” While kidney transplant procedures are performed at Temple University Hospital, all evaluation, pre- and post-operative care is now provided on the Crozer-Chester Medical Center campus. Before this Alliance, kidney transplant candidates who live in Delaware County have had to obtain these services elsewhere.

Throughout the kidney transplant process, Temple and Crozer physicians and staff will closely collaborate so that patients receive the best possible care.

Patients also benefit from the expertise and experience of the Temple Abdominal Organ Transplant Program. The program has been performing kidney transplants since 1989, using a multidisciplinary approach aimed at the total care of the patient.
